HFHO needs your help to conduct a statewide homeowner impact study.
As Habitat for Humanity of Oregon leads statewide advocacy efforts, it is increasingly important to have numbers to back up our assertions about how Habitat for Humanity positively impacts the lives of the families and communities we serve.
Fortunately, earlier this year with the help of VISTA Volunteer Leslee Humphrey, Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East conducted a very thorough and effective homeowner impact study. They have provided us with all of their materials, paving the way for a statewide study.
We are reaching out to leaders of your affiliate, requesting contact information for all of the Habitat for Humanity homebuyers you have served. We are interested in collecting e-mail addresses, phone numbers and snail mail addresses to ensure the broadest participation possible. HFHO will use homeowner contact information for the sole purpose of this survey.
We will incentivize Habitat homeowner participation with a drawing. All Habitat homeowners who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a $100 VISA debit gift card. We’ll select three winners and send out the gift cards.
By clicking HERE, you can view the survey that we’ll be sending to Habitat homeowners. Once all information has been calibrated (in spring of 2016), we’ll provide you with the statewide findings in the hope that this will help you to build your case for support at the local level.
