- The Development Specialist is primarily responsible for managing constituent information in and out of the Raiser’s Edge database in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring adherence to systems policy and procedure. Office Coordinator/Executive Assistant – Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East
- The Office Coordinator/Executive Assistant is the first point of contact for Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East’s volunteers, homeowners and donors. They are responsible for the operation of the reception area and facilitating communication and proper routing and filing of inquiries, messages and important paperwork and assisting the CEO with his calendar, monthly Board Meeting preparation and minutes and travel arrangements. The Office Coordinator provides support to several functional areas, as well as meeting a number of broader organizational needs. They must be proficient with MS Office, pay attention to detail, and have a friendly and professional phone manner, along with an ability to work with minimal supervision. Salvage Services Supervisor – Portland Metro ReStores
- The Salvage Service supervisor is responsible for leadership and on-site management of the Salvage Service program, including hands-on deconstruction, gathering and transporting salvageable materials for resale at Habitat for Humanity ReStores. Salvage Service provides a cost effective means of residential non-structural deconstruction for our clients. Daily tasks include project evaluation and oversight, customer service, documentation, and handling and management of large, heavy materials such as cabinet sets, lumber, doors, windows and lighting. Salvage Service regularly removes kitchens (cabinets and appliances) as a main staple of work, though we salvage many other building materials from residences that are slated for demolition, for example.
