Position title: Youth Construction Trainer
Location: Salem, Oregon
Position description: The focus of the Youth Construction Trainer is to work primarily with at-risk youth to develop life skills necessary for employment and leadership development. Coordinates and monitors the progress and quality of construction training sites. Teaches construction skills, mentors and encourages development of the participants’ technical and communication skills. Provides transportation for participants when necessary. Position title: Volunteer Coordinator
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Position description: Benton Habitat for Humanity is looking for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator who is a self-motivated leader, has an excellent work ethic and a great attitude. This position is responsible for recruitment, placement, scheduling, retention and appreciation functions for Benton Habitat’s volunteer operations. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A college degree or the equivalent experience desired. An intermediate level experience in Excel and Access database management is preferred.
