    Sisters Habitat for Humanity

    Construction Manager

    The Construction Manager is responsible for coordinating our affiliate’s house building and repair program. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Construction Manager works closely with the Building Committee to monitor costs, secure building permits, call for inspections, order subcontract work, and move each project to completion in a timely manner. The Construction Manager will provide on-site supervision to the work crews.

    Habitat for Humanity Portland Metro ReStores

    Donation Pickup Driver

    The Portland Metro ReStores are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team of committed professionals to help take our ReStore operation to its next exciting level. The Donation Pickup Driver is responsible for performing general driver duties as described below for the pickup of donations at private homes and businesses. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and having a clean driving record for the last 3 years.

    This position is part-time  – Position open until filled.

    Habitat for Humanity Portland Metro

    AmeriCorps VISTA Construction Systems Development Specialist

    Develop, document and implement a plan to improve host site’s construction operations to include scheduling the entire process, tracking paperwork and/or transitioning the host site into green building techniques and owner-occupied repairs.

    Concerted efforts are needed at our affiliate to enhance our construction processes to make our service delivery system more user friendly. An AmeriCorps VISTA Construction Systems Member would support our organizational plan by assisting us in developing a comprehensive process for our construction system, for both homeownership and homeowner-occupied repair programs. The VISTA will address key components needed to increase our construction capacity efficiently and safely. With the appropriate processes in place, we would expect the effectiveness and efficiency of our construction programs to be enhanced, which would lead to increased productivity in meeting the needs of those we serve.

    AmeriCorps Home Repair Program Specialist

    Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East creates successful homeownership by partnering hardworking families in need with the community to build healthy, affordable homes. The Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) enables Habitat to serve more families by responding to community aspirations with an expanded array of products, services and partnerships, empowering residents to revive their neighborhoods and enhance their quality of life.

    The member will be responsible for leading homeowner application and selection for Habitat’s recently launched Home Repair and Preservation Program, and providing continuing support to partner families throughout the repair process. The member will report to Habitat’s Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator and assist with outreach and special projects on an as-needed basis.

    Executive Director

    The Columbia Gorge HFH is looking for an Executive Director to provide general oversight for the daily operation of a non-profit ecumenical housing ministry involved in the building of homes with qualifying families in need.  The ED will also provide support to the President and Board of Directors relating to policies, programs and procedures.

    Executive Director

    The Executive Director (ED) provides overall managerial leadership to the affiliate in accordance with the bylaws, directives, policies, objectives, and strategic plan set by the affiliate Board of Directors (BOD). The ED is a leading advocate of the affiliate in regard to fulfilling the mission and vision statements. The ED is a nonvoting, ex-officio member of the BOD.
